What is Serene Lights?
Serene Lights was created in January 2024 and made its official market debut in September.
Founded and solely operated by Serin Gupta (+family & friends), Serene Lights is a small business based in San Antonio, Texas.
Each design starts as an original creation, carefully laser-cut into wood veneer. The veneer wraps around a frosted glass cylinder and sits on a solid oak base, casting a warm, inviting glow.
One of the coolest things about Serene Lights is that the designs are interchangeable—so you can switch them out with the seasons or your mood.
For the rest of 2024, Serene Lights was at markets almost every weekend, connecting with customers, gathering feedback, and growing its presence.
By the end of the year, Serene Lights achieved a major milestone—securing a spot at the Pearl Holiday Market and selling out!

Who is Serin?
Serin comes from a diverse background, with roots in both India and Germany. Growing up in a homeschooling environment alongside his twin and older sister, he had the opportunity to travel from a young age. These experiences ultimately inspired the creation of Serene Lights.
Now based in San Antonio, Texas, Serin designs and creates each piece himself, ensuring that every Serene Lights design is both original and thoughtfully crafted.
For the best experience, Serin recommends the rechargeable candles—they last 20 hours per charge and include a built-in timer that turns them on and off automatically.
